you have the right to express your opinion if it is what you believe although i disagree with you completely. at least you're not annoying, much better than some posters who self claim true rox fans.

If Harden plays off the ball as a 2 and puts full effort in defense, he is a deadly weapon and a great plus for the team; if Harden plays the point he is not among the better PGs at the moment and the bigger problem is that he shuts down his teammates at 1 and 4 by demanding them to stand at corners as the 3pt specialists.

rox defense was better than the clippers. offense was about same. if better, just marginal.

if we look at the memphis game, our offense wasn't bad at all. we scored 53pts at the break. it was not bad at all. however, defense was so bad and allowed the opponent to have 61 pts at the break.

defense win games!!!! hope all players, including harden, to learn the lesson.

While I know this thread is a joke, there is something to be gleaned from it.

Hakeem used to have major trust issues with his teamates, then one year, he went out with an injury and the rest of the team went on a 15 game win streak, Hakeem admitted that was eye opening for him, and when he came back he was a much more willing passer, and 2 championships followed.

Harden could learn some too, he dominates the ball far too much, while that is ok, we have seen through TMac that it is not a winning strategy in the playoffs...

So, maybe Harden can sit a while and watch the ball movement, and body movement and come back a better teamate, and player, and make the team better overall like Hakeem did.

    One can hope, right?

OP has finally seen the light. Congrats brother. It just make sense.

I'd also like to suggest that Harden change position to PG. Can you imagine a lineup of
    PG harden
    SG Parsons
    SF D-MO
    PF Asik
C Olbright or whatever his name is.

I pretty sure there's enough time before the playoffs to get everyone acclimated to their new positions.
And if we get Gasol or Bynum we can become the first team ever with four 7 footers in the starting lineup. Maybe get Jalen rose or magic to come out of retirement to be our PG and set the record for teh tallest starting 5. Possibilities are mind bottling!!!

Out of the 4 games Hardin missed, we are 1-2,,..And how many games did we have great ball movement with Hardin. More than 20+ i can tell you that...
Yes Hardin has to play better D, but so does every player on this team....It is not just Hardin that plays bad defense.

If you're trying to incite Lin's fans, JLIN would be the first one to say to you that Rockets aren't better without Harden. He's the superstar of this team. McHale just needs to make those ISOs less and rely more with ball movement. We NEED Harden for the playoffs if we want to win even a single one game. That said, it's up to the team to make Harden more effective. Using him on ISOs isn't the most efficient way of using him.
