We'd be lucky if OKC traded Martin back for Harden but who am I kidding, Presti would lose his job, no one wants Harden anymore, he's terrible and the reason we're not fighting for the #1 seed right now.

Op is right. The offense should run thru Lin at all costs. Harden should be reduced to the role of jimmer ferdette

What is happening on the site, and it was probably inevitable, reminds me of the famous American feuds between the Hatfield and the McCoy families.

For younger readers and those outside of the USA, this will fill you in:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hatfield–McCoy_feud

Anytime there are two sides going to figurative "battle," you will often hear outside observers refer to the feud as similar to "the Hatfields and the McCoys."

One of the things that appears to have been lost over time was who started the feud? And the answer is "it doesn't matter." Because once the feud got started, it kept going. For nearly 30 years.

This is what has happened between the Lin Fans and their opposites, whatever you want to call that faction.

It doesn't matter who started the feud, all that matters now seems to be how each side can use every second of every single game to perpetuate the feud and gain an advantage.

    Team wins without Harden?

LIN FANS -- Who needs Harden?
OTHER SIDE -- Lin got lucky

Team wins and Lin plays poorly?

LIN FANS -- Coach and teammates limited JLin
OTHER SIDE -- Who needs Lin?

    And on and on.

Once this type of feud gains momentum, you can expect both sides to just be waiting for more "ammunition" so they can fire their next verbal volley.

    Is Clutchfans better without KingCheetah?

We are one of the best forums on the net without him -- maybe it's time to consider having him sit in time out

We're definitely a better defensive team without him. This was clear yesterday.

Clippers are a good defensive team. 9th in the league. So are the Spurs.

Instead of playing Harden 43 minutes, McHale should play him 28 minutes so he doesn't have to conserve energy on the defensive end. James Anderson or Garcia can handle 20 minutes or so.
