Harden is outside of the top 5 right now but inside the top 10. LBJ, Durant, CP3, Kobe, Wade (don't let the scoring drop off fool you, he does have to share with LBJ after all) are above Harden. D-Rose is uncertain because of his health and DH12 might bounce back, you can make arguments with Tony Parker and Duncan. Good chance Harden could crack the top 5 next season though.
You sacastic, right? I don't feel it's funny. But with correct coaching, Harden could be even better.
With all due respect to Harden, Duncan is a much better player. Kobe better than Harden, I am not sure any more.
Westbrook and Derion Williams are also better. They pass the ball and they make better shots. No cheap fouls. Harden maybe top 20 player.
some observation: (Harden as PG role) When he passes ball, he looks for hot hand player first. Even this player was blocked by opponent. This makes this player difficult to score. Sometimes he passes ball with few seconds left on the shot clock. (Lin as PG role) Lin first look for wide open player before he look for hot hand player. He also use himself as a bait to draw spacing. He never hesitate to pass ball to wide open player even this player has missed shot before. This makes all teammate to always prepare himself to shot anytime.
If McHale gets some balls to stand up to Harden and get him to play defense and shooting guard instead of point guard then the backcourt combo of Lin and Harden would be awesome and maybe best backcourt in the league. The rest of the team are good enough to contend right now if the backcourt and PF positions get straightened out. Actually it looks like Greg Smith might work there. So no, I don't think Harden should be traded - just played correctly. If McHale can't do it replace him before trading an all-star.
I tend to agree. KingCheetah one thing I like about your posts is you bring facts to the table. The thing that I know about facts is that they are never wrong. If you have facts then you are right. The fact is we won and Harden was not playing. Can anyone disagree with that? Nope.
The fact that this thread is still active is an insult to Harden and just embarrassing to Rockets fans
