No. The Rockets are better with a better than average bench.

    Remember before Chris Paul ?

Harden would sit and we would get blown out... harden asked Morey for help at PG

Chris Paul is here to keep hardens minutes low so he doesn’t get burnt out during the playoffs

It should be clear as day to anyone that when teams start pressing and doubling a gassed Harden is when the lack of a second legit playmaker becomes apparent and teams start going on a run when they force others to beat them so we need Paul in there to negate that issue.

Look do I wish he did not have that contract or he had not declined as much as he has? Obviously but there is no way on gods green earth we are better without him

What are we going to do when Chris is ready to return?

The games since CP3 went out have shown us that when Harden is locked in AND we get something from the rest of the team on O and D, we are nearly unstoppable.

Last night's game, on the other hand, showed us that when Harden struggles at all*, CP3 is necessary. We can't count on Harden playing out of his mind the rest of the year and throughout the playoffs.

    * I know, 38 points, but I was there and he was struggling much more than he normally does.
