Unproven, yet high ceiling players and teams CAN be good, CAN reach the playoffs, but the odds are stacked very heavily against it. Practically EVERYTHING has to go right. On this logic, it could just as easily all go WRONG. So the most probable is a mix and moderation of both. I think the most realistic prediction is that we have some short good play mixed with some fairly extended bad play. We have another team in Houston (Astros) that has many of the same components as the Rockets in the view of unproven youthful but potentailly talented players. Young teams usually don't win much, even with great talents. It took OKC a few years to mature, and they had great young talents.
