to get a high pick while shedding payroll to try and convince Howard to sign. I'll be interested to see if Dirk goes out for the season with a questionable injury.
Well, reportedly, they only offered their starting center a one year deal, because they want to be major players next Summer. But losing their starting center practically guarantees that they won't repeat, plus they run a very good risk of only being one injury away from the lottery. So I actually think the question has legs. If so, it's brilliant, because it would be a quick reload. If they get lucky and land a top pick, they could offer that pick in a sign and trade to put another star next to Dirk. So thinking about it, not only should the possibility not be ruled out, you have to respect the boldness of their plan.
Well if Durant doesn't hit a game winner, they win a game ... So yeah ... They're tanking on accident
Well, by only offering their starting center a one year contract, their highest priority clearly isn't to win this season. They are thinking long term.
My bad, didn't know there was such a thing as appropriate threads when 95% of posters are using aliases. What would be an example of an appropriate thread such that **** heads like you won't think bad of me?
Something that invokes actual thought. Basically, posting a random thread title followed by a short and not well thought out post is a great way to get yourself rookified. I'm glad that you are taking joy (or at least appear to be) in Dallas' pain, but it doesn't really warrant a thread. But sure, attack me rook. Attack all of us in fact. Let's see how that goes... This story has played out a lot of times, and it always ends the same way.
