no offense but canvasser jobs are never advertised correctly, and the students get treated liked ****. i worked for a bit for environmental protection, quit pretty fast and even though they owed me cash, i hated the job enough to never go back and hassle. just got a letter in the mail informing me theres a class action lawsuit against them, a lot of the student managers and canvassers never got fully paid. i am happy you didn't take that offer.

Man, last year I had a 3 hour class on Mondays from 6-9 pm and guess which days they decided to put most of the Rockets playoff games on? If you guessed Monday, then you are correct!

It was a class for the Mayor (taught it only once a week), and I remember taking my laptop and sitting in the first column and the back rows. There were like two rows of people behind me who would constantly be leaning over as I watched the Rockets games on SopCast. I knew the Mayor was suspicion, but he was a cool guy and never called me out on it. Then when he offered me an internship at his office the following semester, he told me that he knew I was watching the Rockets game, but said he never said anything since I did good on the mid-term and seemed to be understanding all the material. :D

Only thing that sucked was I had to keep my mouth shut and hold all the anger within me. I couldn't yell at T-Mac to take it in, Yao to stop dribbling or Rafer to stopping shooting. Now, I can't wait until Rafer shoots! What has the world become? :D

I am glad to know that I have possibly avoided something that I was going to regret for the rest of my life.

I just talked to my parents today (in Vegas for my little cousin's BDay) and my dad was like good choice. LOL! He is a Laker fan so I still had to throw a couple jabs for how they couldn't back up his talk about ending the streak, but he was like go ahead and watch your "sorry-ass" Rockets. I will continue to hold Number 22 over him. I don't think I can ever let that go since the Lakers were "for sure" going to end our streak! :D

Only something like 13 more hours until Rockets game! Can't wait!

Well at uni the other day.. i had a 10min break instead of going to the toilet, take a drink etc the first thing i did was rushed to the library and see if our beloved rockets and won .. and not surprisingly we won!

The thought of going to the toilet and taking a drink never came up over the Rockets..

i dont think yao will pay my rent if i was short a few bucks... or tmac will buy me a big mac if i was hungry...

sadly, i have to work tonight so i cant watch the rox/celtics game on tv. but thank goodness for radio! :p

Yep, but it really started going down hill after we picked up Hakeem.

Rockets are my last legal vice. I call it a vice because you know how much I could've gotten done in the past 25 years if it weren't for them? Crap, they're worst than pot!

My life is ruining my enjoyment of the Rockets. I've had a really busy January and February and until Sun. I hadn't been able to see a Rox game in its enterity and real time so I've only been able to enjoy the streak trhough highlights and CF.net. I was almost afraid to watch the game since I hadn't seen them play in realtime during the streak.

If you have to ask the question that the OP is asking, you should really sit down and take a look at your life. I love the Rockets as much as anyone in here. If they lose, I get up off my couch and go play with my son. Or I go play soccer or softball. Or I go hang out with my wife.

If you're seriously making life changing decisions based on game times, please seek help.
