Exactly - The Beatles chose to stop playing live after 1965 or 1966 (can''t remember which year) but it wasn't because they were bad at it. In fact, Chuck Rainey (famous session bass player) happened to be in a band that opened for the Beatles during their first American tour and stated that they were very good live.
