i saw tmac's interview where he asked for more minutes and it didn't seem out of line at all. perhaps he should have just talked with adelman about it but i think many people made it to be a mountain when it was just a molehill. perhaps there are tactful ways of dealing with the press but sh** you people that say he deserves to be traded because of his (fairly) recent conduct with the press are quibblers. adelman even said that he didn't fault tmac for wanting to play more but just felt that he was pushing the envelope and it was making him uncomfortable. i don't know where the fault lies because i can only speculate about the amount of cooperation/compromise that took place or didn't take place on both sides. tmac should have shown willingness to incorporate into the team's new style of play, and the rockets should have at the very least let tmac continue with the 8 minutes that he was getting in order to see if he could improve/prove himself to be a valuable member of the org. Again i don't know who's to blame for this. But sh**, the rockets could at least play him limited minutes in the meantime to see for certain the extent to which he will be an asset or liability to the team.
I'm tired of having an opinion and making an argument either way. Someone is responsible for what happened. I'll wait to see how Yao's situation is handled before I make any conclusions. It's just so hard for me to go against what Morey is saying, but regardless of what I feel, I'm not going to act like some know-it-all jackass. I think that that seriously degrades the quality of this board and makes people not want to even discuss other issues with those who are quick to try to impose their opinions on other people. If I am wrong about believing that McGrady will ever be a very good player again, then I'll certainly man up to it, big deal, life goes on right? If I'm right I won't make it a point to act like an idiot that just wants to rub it in. I hope that things work out for McGrady and the Rockets. Also, please people, a brittle Kevin Martin is far from being the answer to the problem at hand. Personally I'd love to see Iguodala and Anthony Randolph be a part of this team and I would absolutely part with Tracy, Scola, and Lowry to do it. Throw Battier and/or Ariza in there for good measure.
