Are Charles and Kenny Haters...

I like that anyone can have a point of view on these two and that is great. I don't like the fact that everyone has to agree with someone else's point of view to be considered a true fan. Everyone here is a fan and fanatic of the Rockets!!

 

Let's see your argument.

Inside the NBA has won several Emmys, so Barkley (Among Johnson, Smith and sometimes joined by either Magic Johnson or Reggie Miller) is the best color analyst, and so every of his comments is very likely to be objective and correct.

Let me show my understanding instead:

The chemistry of and interesting comments by Johnson, Smith and Barkley togther have led some to believe that Inside the NBA is the best studio program on television, and this program won serveral Emmys. Considerable eyeballs are drawn by Barkley's brashness.

 

Your stuff doesn't unite fans, but divide us. I don't see any fundamental difference btw you and YOF or TOF in terms of delusion.

 

Speaking of Voltron, I just found out they're going to make a movie on it and is supposebly set to release in 2008.

 

I don't think you really answered my question. My question was, Does Kenny Smith have carte blanche with you to trash your current Rockets squad? In other words, is there anything he could say to which you would take offense? It doesn't seem to me like there is.

 

TNT needs to have coaches or players who actually have a ring to be the commentators. Like Bill Walton, even he says loads of crap you can't blame him.

When Kenny Smith a nobody and Barkley a fat loser criticising players and talking about how to win a championship it's pretty ridiculous.

I'll cut Kenny Smith some lack. He's only the most annoying when he trys to kiss Barkley's ass. Something like "..... great players like you two, magic and charles"

ur... no. There is a big difference between the two.

hahah are you a COF? wow never seen someone like chuck cause of the fts LOL. but honestly tho, chuck never really contributed to clutch city. if you are saying that we should not hate him cause he put houston on national tv, then put that in your poll... but not clutch city man!!!

 

Kenny defends us all the time! His analysis is still bad (how many time do they have to say the word "SWAGGER" on TNT?), but hes a rockets supporter. you gotta take it with a grain of salt.. theyre there to be entertaining, not informative.

ie. Bill Walton is informative (sometimes, but also repetitive), but hes extremely boring.

Chuck is SUPER entertaining, but he needs to show some more love (non bandwagon love) for the rockets.

EJ is the man btw. ahah

I never have a problem understanding Charles. Further, not many people, probably including contemporary Britians, speak proper English.

Besides, I rather he someone with opinions and a sense of humar in poor English than a bland or self-rightous announcer/commentator that so fill the airways.

There is your problem right there. Of course he isn't objective. He is brash and oppinionated, he is the color commentor (no pun intended). He also doesn't take himself too seriously--this is a good human trait.

Not like he is the only one of his era--Malone, Stockton, Ewing, Miller, etc. Many other greats only got them on the backs of other stars late in their career--Dr. J, DR, Drexler. Barkley has said he has a blessed, wonderfull life, and has quite a bit of perspective on his career/life and coming up just short of the title.

See above on Chuck. As for Kenny, Clutchfans doesn't exist without him. We needed every one of his key buckets in 94 & 95 or the Knicks, Magic, or Barkley's Suns would have had those big parties.

 

I vote "they aren't haters; stop being so sensitive about other people being sensitive".
