Yao only fan basically they would get mad if you compare Yao to Ralph Sampson or a Lebron James article didn't mention Yao They don't really know much about the NBA, only Yao and who he dates. For example, us TRUE ROCKET fans, know that Ralph Sampson was an AMAZING talent that helped defeat one of the greatest teams of all time, The defending champion LA LAKERS with Magic Johnson, Kareem, Worthy, Pat Riley as coach but YOF thinks that it was an insult YOFers are delusional, they think that Yao is on the same level as Hakeem now.
1. I don't watch. 2. I posted here because you conveniently skipped my question in the original thread (about why Kenny and Chuck hate the Rockets) asking you where your allegiances lie. Maybe you just skipped over it in your rush to challenge other people. So, I'll post it again:
if you dont watch, then why do claim to know that Kenny and Charles are "CRAPPING ALL OVER" the Rockets. 1. Ex-Rockets analysts vs Current Rockets makes no sense. Ex-Rockets analysts job is to analyze, Current Rockets job is to win. Both are going great jobs. 2. Kenny doesn't 'crap all over your current Rockets team', as mentioned before.. I listen to Kenny's show on Sirius radio (FULL COURT PRESS). Kenny on a daily basis talks about the Rockets because one of the regular callers is from Houston . Kenny > Jim Rome NBA Sirius radio callers > Jim Rome callers they actually talk about basketball not 'smack'.
So what? does that mean they'r identical twins on this matter? Did you ever graduate from your high school?
Kenny is ok but Charles is... Vince Carter's mother couldn't have said it better. "Charles Barkley was a great player, but his time has passed -- he's done," said Michelle Carter, Vince's mother. "I'm sure he was hired to be Charles Barkley, but there are others who speak much better. I know negativity sells, but that says a lot about not just the NBA and the media, but where our society has come." "I was a teacher for 20 years, and I could easily be critical of Charles Barkley, because the man can't speak three sentences without destroying the language. It's an embarrassment as an African-American to listen to this supposedly college-educated man, and his grammar is so atrocious. Through all of the years of criticism, all of the garbage, we've had to become very thick-skinned." Just because he is an ex-Rockets legend doesn't mean he is absolute. In my opinion the fans that are defending him is even more delusional than he is. Obviously, he is not 100% happy with the Rockets, he was suppose to win a championship here... but he couldn't do it. Why would he appreciate the Rockets? That "no championship" tag is on him forever, and you think he is happy about it?
Does that mean the both comment the same and need to be considered as one entity by this r****ded poll?
yes, chuck makes bold bets and pays up. yup, he's by far the best color analyst for the NBA. he speaks his mind no matter if it upsets anyone or not. A good example was when he called Kobe selfish. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2449057 ATLANTA -- Kobe Bryant said Charles Barkley was wrong to call him "selfish" for not trying to score more during Game 7 of the Lakers' playoff loss to Phoenix. Bryant and Barkley discussed their difference of opinion face-to-face Wednesday night when Bryant appeared as a studio guest during TNT's NBA playoff coverage. Bryant took only three shots and scored one point during the second half of the Lakers' 121-90 loss to the Suns in the deciding game of their first-round series. Barkley was critical of Bryant's play on the air, believing he should have tried to take over the offense when his team needed it. The criticism upset Bryant, who told Barkley so during some text message responses. "We had a strategy that worked very well for us in three games," Bryant said. "We tried to keep the strategy going in Game 7, and the other games as well, but it didn't work for us. But we're out there to try and win, so to label me as being selfish is something I had to take up with Charles." Barkley maintained that the strategy wasn't working, but acknowledged he should have handled his criticism differently. "I criticized Kobe in Game 7. He didn't like it and he let me know it," Barkley said. "I think I probably made one mistake by taking it public, but I wanted to get his side and his point of view. I have no problem with him disagreeing with me." you can compare him to Clyde. Clyde Drexler would never dare criticize the best player in the NBA or even criticize any bench player on the Rockets. Therefore you'd never see Clyde on TNT. TNT is the best. they won an emmy for Inside the NBA.
people claim that both members of TNT's Emmy winning team show 'hatred' toward the Rockets. if i feel a poll doesn't satisfy my needs, i will post a new poll. which you should. be involved, plant a thread and a poll and unite Rocket fans in debate that will shake the planet!
