He also changed his tune and said the Rockets are his dark horse to win it all.

Great thing is they can't say "I knew it all along" or toot their own horn if the Rockets do well.

As far as I know, Scottie Pippen didn't say nearly as many bad words about Rockets team and player as those two, especially Barkley.

All I hear him saying is: " Yao can't score 19 points in a game" ,"Rockets are a bad team(even though Rox never had a losing record in West this season)", "Rockets have no chance against Utah"(after Rockets went 20-12 without Yao), "Yao's 25 points is not dominant, he doesn't make his teammates better"(after Yao just dominated Shaq).

Barkely used to be my 2nd favorate player behind Jordan. I still like him as a player, but not as a commentator because he's really biased, except sometimes he's funny.

Good thing is Barkley has been punished to kiss an ass, now you're kissing his.

    tinman,

Why is it that every time someone disagrees with you, they aren't a "true rockets fan?" There has always been a LARGE sect of Rockets fans who disagreed with the Barkley trade. I (along with this dude named Hakeem Olajuwon) never wanted that fat ass on my team to begin with. He came here, ruined our chemistry, and I'm supposed to kiss his ass now?

Why? Because he won a freaking Emmy? Those awards are a joke, and the fact that you list their Emmys along with Championship rings and All-star appearances as if it is some worthy accolade is even more hilarious. Is Inside the NBA entertaining? Yes. Is it absolutely void of any coherent basketball analysis? Damn right.

You contribute so much to the GARM and I agree with a lot that you say when you actually talk about basketball, but please get off your high horse and stop talking to people like you are better than them just cause they aren't all over the fat man's dick like you.

dont you think you should separate charles and kenny? i'm sure there are lots of charles haters who arent kenny haters. plus, charles wasn't part of the original clutch city. so i dont even think this poll is valid

This crap happened so long ago. Pruyen has so army of YOFers here. Are you guys watching reruns of Year of the Yao or something. Hint : we had steve francis when all that hoopla happened.

As a matter of fact, that did WONDERS for YAO's POPULARITY. Kenny was the one who told Charles that he thought YAO was the best player on the team (Steve was still on the team). Talk about selective memories!

if it weren't for Chuck missing those free throws. There would be no Clutch City!
Charles was a great Rocket. Once we got Chuck, we were on TV all the time.

When did Dream say he didn't want Chuck on the team? drop me a real quote.
Dream only had nice things to say about Chuck.
Were you not happy that we finally beat Seattle??
We were one Stockton 3 pointer, away from maybe another Title.

Why the hate? Its not Chuck's fault Seatle beat us 4-0. Maybe the organization felt that we needed a change or Seatle would take us again the next year.

These posts are fun. that's why!

since tinman you don't answer my question, I post it again:

why only 4 selections? I don't agree any of these 4 reasons.

I believe many others share the same question for you.

So because he missed free throws while playing AGAINST us, and because he was an attention w**** who acted out to be on TV while he was playing for us showing up to training camp 5000 lbs over weight, and because he goes on television now (even fatter than ever) and makes a fool out of himself all the while winning the most trivial awards in the history of triviality AND awards, he was a great Rocket?

    Hmmmm...

I'll take John Lucas and his 3 eight-balls a week over Bark-Bark any day.

    1. kenny only haters
    2. chuck only haters
    3. had to find something to hate on after winning 2 playoff games

Why you want to impose your idea on others? list some other reasons like "they are biased, etc" and let ppl pick. Dare you?
