Are Carlos Boozer and Nate Robinson our missing pieces?

Boozer gets benched regularly for not playing defense. But Thibs is forced to put him out there at times for his offense cause his team in general is offensively challenged.

I'd rather have PPatt than Boozer.

Obviously you have no idea what the Rocket's manager is trying to do with the team. After several years of not getting anywhere, the Manager has a plan to rebuild the Rockets. Its going to be a couple more years before our team is ready to make a run for the championship. We are looking for younger players with talent who will fit into our up tempo play, players who can possibly blossom into champions in a few years. The players you suggest are too old and too expensive to use as roll players for one or two seasons.Y:p

Interestingly, it is widely anticipated (although I'm a little skeptical myself) that the Bulls will use their one-time amnesty clause to remove Carlos Boozer from the cap. This is obviously how Houston got Luis Scola off the cap. Philly did the same with Elton Brand. Many teams have used their amnesty clause by now.

Anyway, the point here is that Boozer may actually become available this summer, and the Rockets will have plenty of cap space, so they can, if they want, put in a bid. As we saw with Scola and Brand, not many teams put in a bid, because not many teams can put in a bid (since most teams don't have the cap space). Daryl Morey may put in what he believes is a low ball bid, e.g., $4 mil/season (over the remaining two seasons on his contract for $8 mil total). And he may win that bid!

I can't stand Carlos Boozer at $15+ mil/season. But at $4 mil/season over two seasons? It's kind of hard to argue with that.

But, to answer the original question on this thread: there is a 0% chance that Daryl Morey will trade for Boozer's contract. 0%!

Lol you also said Al Jeff was a good defender and that Z-bo was twice as good as any of our guys. Clearly you have no idea what you're talking about and have no reason for making your snide remarks about us not watching teams outside of the Houston (which likely isn't even true).

Boozer's defense make Patterson look like Tim Duncan. No way the Rockets take him on unless all their young PFs get traded away even at a reasonable price tag.

Why is there not an option to give less than 1 star?

I'd take Nate. He's settled down, and is a quality rotation player now. He'd probably outplay Lin.

Do not want Boozer's contract. And as much as I think Lin is overrated, he's better than Nate Robinson.

Hell no to Boozer, he will always be a dirty jazz player. Nate's just annoying.
