I'm not sure of anyone who's said that electing Obama because of his name, and the color of his skin would help send a message to the middle east.
Excuse me that I haven't gone to Princeton or Harvard like Obama's wife (just lowly Sam Houston State), but what I meant and the reason I put Arabs in "quotes" is because I hope for a day God willing that there will be less categorization or divisions of people of the world... I hope for a day that races will be so mixed that they will throw away the questionaires which declare yourself...My daughters are 75% hispanic and 25% white, their cousins are 50% black, 50% hispanic,...I am 50% white, 50% hispanic...Why do I have to declare a singularity on race? What a wonderful day it will be when Arabs intermix with non-Arabs to the point, we throw out the term "Arabs", and it is wiped out and gone forever? Other terms as well as it relates to whomever...Perhaps to the point that there is just simply: "human being" as the only category of separation... That was what I wanted to expand on with the intention of being initially vague to field responses...and I was curious to to see overreaction without those that might first ask to elaborate... I want to apologize to everyone for being a little too stark and crossing the line with the statement irregardless of my true intentions... .................................................. Additionally:... I want to say...I am truly honored to post here in this forum... Especially among some of the other posters, too numerous to mention... For 8 years I have posted here and it is a service and a priviledge which has been granted to us all and I have truly enjoyed it. ..At 10:25pm... February 24th, 2008.. I made the voluntary decision to suspend my posting priviledges indefinitely... This site is great not because of the Rockets, but because of the class, and example for others to emulate as demonstrated in their posts... The D&D forum has a great future and is in good hands with class filled, and exemplary posts for others to emulate and to be informed with. ...I will have the support of family and friends to lean on ...and I will be fine. More than anything I have appreciated the service for the last 8 years....
You could have said that at the beginning. That came across as (at best) deliberately provocative. When you run over people with a truck, don't expect them to casually ask if it's a Ford or a Dodge. Accepted. Thanks.
Hey, my grandfather, step-father, and uncle as well as a bunch of my friends' parents taught at Sam. It's not lowly in my book. And no need to go. Just be clearer with your intentions. Words can sometimes be tricky.

wasnt your president a cheerleader at harvard, in a time of war no less? edit: oops, he was a yale "man". my bad! i dont think we need to fill out questionnaires about race, but i think your world would be very boring. you want everybody the world over to be the same? it would be like only getting to eat at mcdonalds for the rest of your life. i like traveling to other countries and experiencing other cultures. i think its good that we are all different. i dont think it would be wonderful and why are you singling out arabs?
