Of course, it's appropriate. As long as it doesn't display any obscenities or insulting photos. You can't fullfill their fantasies... SECKSUAL HAIRASSMEANT lawsuit a-coming (pun intended).
Be glad that a 16 year old kid is reading a book. Any book. Period. If reading that particular book (#1 bestseller nationwide, btw) turns on the light for reading Jane Eyre later, all the better. There are more important things in the world.
1. What kind of business do you own? 2. Ask her to get an e-reader/tablet so it won't be obvious to the customers.

lol. I made no claim as to it's literary merit. It's just that the girl is not the only person reading this book.
Just because its a best seller doesn't mean its good. Lots of people read Twilight and that book is written on a fifth grade level. Lots of people watch Jersey Shore.. and well you know...
But this book is fap material and sex ed class rolled into one! Don't discount it's intellectual value....
I've already stated that I made no judgment on it's literary value. My point, for the careful readers, is the kid is reading. This is good. If it takes a best selling book of fluff to turn on the reading light, who cares? Harry Potter, Twilight, et al. are not very literary, but if they get kids into reading it is a win.
