I know I'm gonna miss him, but if our picks can pan out, I will be very pleased. Thanks Robert, I wish you well, but never against the Houston Rockets. I hope the Houston crowd will give you a generous applause and thank you for all what you did for the team.

I still can’t believe they traded him for what’s going to amount to trash. I mean unless Harden gets dealt too. Don’t expect to compete and have Harden happy

He should poke his chest out since Portland gave up 2 1sts for him ... I remember him saying he felt the Rockets wanted him when he was dealt here due to what we gave up for him..... Well looks like Portland couldn't live without him...

The question is, when are we going to have the third Ariza appreciation thread in CF history?

Not his fault, but wish we still had Clint and the pick.

Pretty much pretending it didn't happen.

    (And hitting refresh a lot)

Some of us waited so damn long to get a player like Robert Covington on the Rockets. Sheesh...

We aren't going to get much more value than what we received if we kept him and dealt him later on. It was a solid trade.

If you are trading Harden sure. If you are keeping him and expecting to compete it’s terrible.

Harden refused a $50 MILLION annual extension and said he wants to be traded, so at this point it's safe to assume we are entering a rebuild without Harden.

Consummate professional and 2nd best Rocket in the playoffs.

    And it wasn't even close.

Averaged 50% from 3, 2.5 steals and 1.2 blocks in the postseason. Top 3 in steals during regular season. Improved Rockets rim protection after Capela trade.

Truly elite 3-D player, especially when he is at the nail.

I liked Robert Covington a lot: liked his shooting, his quick hands, his hustle, his weak side shot blocking. However, for such a top notch defender, I was disappointed in his one-on-one defense. He was great from the weak side, but he seemed to put up very little resistance when he was on ball trying to keep his man away from the basket. I don’t want to judge a guy from a relatively small sample size, but that’s what I observed in the playoffs.
