I think xcode/interface builder/ objective c suck, but millions of people seem to love making apps for the iphone.
Yup. They're bound to introduce something new as far as hardware goes. I don't think they'll keep the same exterior 3 years in a row. I wouldn't be surprised to see a front facing camera.
Yeah, I'm not jumping ship yet. I'm waiting to see what Apple will bring out and what the Windows phones will have. There're also rumors that HTC may buy out Palm. That'd be an interesting merger. I like Apple's range of free apps, though, so that'd be what would make it tough to switch.
June 22nd doesn't seem like a bad guess. http://www.iphonebuzz.com/4g-iphone...pple-gets-patent-for-iphone-design-148944.php
Helllllllllllllll no. Apple isn't going to make it fatter than it already is. Plus, there's no way Apple adds all those buttons on the side. IF anything, this new iPhone will look similar to the rest, they won't change much. I could see them changing the back to aluminum finish like the iPad.
I actually think it looks alright. That's not more buttons than it already has, and I like the silver, more like the backs of the original iPhone. But yeah, probably fake
Yeah but it really looks it. It's just a jumbled mess. Apple makes the sleekest and most simplest designs. It's just hard to see that being the new iPhone. If you like the silver metal back from the first iPhone, you'll love the aluminum that is rumored to come... same as the iPad and MacBook Pros.
Hate to admit it, but I guess I was wrong. I don't take back what I said. I don't like the design one bit. It really doesn't have that "sleekness" to it anymore... I'm still 50/50 on whether I'll get it or not. Nobody has any details on its features yet and what the specs are... so I guess I'll wait.
http://www.appleinsider.com/article...dc_to_be_held_june_7_11_in_san_francisco.html Looks like the iPhone will be coming around July again... Not bad I guess.

It would've been nice to have wireless syncing to the iPhone. http://www.appleinsider.com/article...oftware_rejected_by_apple_from_app_store.html
http://www.appleinsider.com/article...ne_contract_early_termination_fee_to_325.html I've heard rumors though because there might potentially be a Verizon iPhone, AT&T might move back the upgrade date everyone who bought a iPhone 3GS to June because of the launch of the upcoming iPhone in order to keep people on AT&T.
does it affect only new contracts? i signed mine last july when the 3GS came out...i am on the fence about going back to sprint for the EVO or signing one with verizon if the iphone's going there.
I believe so because they can't just add a new ETF to a contract you already signed. You should be fine...
http://www.appleinsider.com/article...as_little_room_for_surprise_at_wwdc_2010.html I'd probably agree with this... for whatever reason, I just don't see a Verizon iPhone coming. But we pretty much know the major things for the new iPhone. http://www.appleinsider.com/article...ext_gen_iphone_to_demonstrate_video_chat.html So, it's pretty much confirmed that there will be video conferencing (immediately). Hopefully there's not a delay on AT&T's part to not allow chatting on 3G when it the phone releases... Some pics of the white iPhone.
http://www.appleinsider.com/article..._4g_will_sport_dense_960x640_ips_display.html Was looking forward to the details on the high-res screen... I think I'm pleased with it being 960x640. I'm interested to see if the camera is able to record 720p video, even though the old iPhones have low resolution cameras , they still capture great quality video at that rate. Still am not going to decide until I know what's on it officially next week.
