I really wish they had implemented a way to close an app and go to the home screen. Maybe something like holding the Home button for a couple seconds. I don't like having to close apps from the multitasking slide.
Damn I wish I had an Iphone 4 today. Jealous. Oh well I'm gonna have to wait. Might as well go for the white one when its available.

i think this resembles apples desktop OS also. how the X doesn't really mean close...u have to "quit task" or watever. one of the many reasons i can't use their OS.
Were you able to activate it successfully? I plugged mine in, launched iTunes, and put in the info it asked for. Then it just told me that the session timed out. UPDATE: Nevermind. Just had to reboot the computer. Working like a champ.
Installed the jailbroke version of 4.0 on my wifes 3GS last night to see how it is. I like it so far. Even on the 3GS a lot of things seemed faster. Can't wait to pick up mine at the store tomorrow.
at least for me, if only the backs were different colors, I wouldn't care which version I bought. But, the whole front of the new phone is white which makes it look completely different. As stupid as it may sound, the black one is too similar to this one I've used for the past 2 years from the front view. Of course if I actually see it in person I may change my mind.
Well...I got mine activated and am using it now. I'm really trying to be as subjective as possible, but it's very difficult. This phone is truly amazing. The resolution is so much better than the 3GS. As far as speed goes, there's not really a noticeable difference between 4 and 3GS. Haven't had a chance to make a lot of calls yet, but the ones I have made have been problem-free. None dropped so far. Amazing device...plain and simple.
I actually drove through a part of town that I ALWAYS had dropped calls...call carried on with no problem.
synching now. Definitely if any of you are waiting and are supposed to get it today....completely disregard FedEx's tracking. Turns out Apple's email was correct.
anybody get the yellow brown spots on the screen? rumors are hitting the internets that there might be a discoloration on the units. planning on picking mine up tomorrow . . . fingers crossed.
