I guess you don't know the definition of what a troll is. It's not about anyone liking another product, it's about coming into a thread about iPhone info and posting some bs like that.
Where to Buy an iPhone 4? The iPhone 4 is coming and you want one in your hands as soon as humanly possible. Upgrades! Retail outlets! Pre-sales! It's all a bit overwhelming. Take a deep breath: here's where you can pre-order your new iPhone. Some things to note: • All of the locations below offer pre-order, starting tomorrow, except for Walmart, which will just have the new iPhone on launch day. • Apple.com is the only place to pre-order online. Update: Apparently you can pre-order online at AT&T starting tomorrow as well. • AT&T and Apple are the only two of the bunch that sounded confident that you could get your iPhone 4 shipped to your house on the 24th, saving you from potential soul- and body-crushing line experiences on launch day. • Best Buy's $50 down payment is in the form of a gift card, so if you change your mind between tomorrow and the 24th, you won't be out any cash. • Prices, as previously stated, are $199 for 16GB and $299 for 32GB for the upgrade eligible; $399 and $499 respectively for an early upgrade. Do you own this thread? You have it patent too? You act like a typical Apple fanboy that belong on Gizmodo and Engadget.
I think you were mistaken when you checked the price for the iPhone 3Gs the other day on Apples site. Right now, the 3Gs is going for $149 (the 16GB). The iPhone 4 16 GB is $199 though, as you will see tomorrow.
Yeah, probably. So which iPhone is $99. Since I am eligible on the 30th, can I get the 4 for $199? Can I buy it at Walmart or do existing customers have to go to AT&T or Apple?
The 3g is currently $99. I would go to AT&T or Apple to do your iPhone 4 shopping. Apple is accepting pre-orders. I think anyone who buys the iPhone 4 is an idiot. I personally think waiting to see what Froyo looks like on more devices, as well as waiting for Windows Phone 7 Series is a smarter idea. Even if you still end up buying an iPhone, the competition of these other phone makers could end up making the iPhone pricing a lot more interesting...
When you're on a carrier like AT&T, you have no choice but to buy an iPhone. Waiting for a decent Android phone (besides the Nexus one which is unsubsidized) has come and gone. Like I said, I'm still open to selling it and getting money and waiting for an Android phone... but it seems like HTC or any other carrier isn't interesting in releasing one for AT&T.
? You can buy it at Walmart if you'd like after you're eligible upgrade date. But who are you referring to?
Pizza Da Hut stated that I should go to either Apple or AT&T to get my iPhone and not Walmart. I don't really see that big of a difference, same phone but at Walmart I can get in and out quicker than I would at the AT&T store here (no Apple store in my location). Plus, I wasn't sure if Walmart would have it for upgrading customers as well as new customers. Basically, I thought Walmart was for new or prepaid customers only.
Well, he was saying you can pre-order it at Apple and AT&T and possibly get better service there if they're going to do onsite activation. Since Walmart isn't doing pre-orders, theres a chance it may get sold out (doubt it will happen though since they have so many places it's being sold at, they'll have large quantities). Walmart will let you do upgrade if you're an existing customer, so you don't have to worry about that. Supposedly though, as someone posted earlier, you can pre-order it online on apple.com or wireless.att.com and receive it at your doorstep on the 24th.
But remember, I am not eligible for upgrade until June 30th so I don't think there is an upside to going to Apple, Walmart, or AT&T unless somebody proves that guess wrong.
Ah, yes, I forgot about that. Honestly, if it's available at Radio Shack, Walmart, BB, AT&T, or online on Apple on the 30th... it really doesn't matter where you go.
Good. I am going to go to Walmart then, is there anything special I would have to do activation-wise by going there?
do you really think it's HTC that's the problem? why would ATT let an android phone steal the spotlight from it's love child?
Oh I definitely agree, but if the phone is good enough I might be tempted even by an unsubsidized price. Honestly, the make or break point for me is flash. Until my phone can run hulu I won't be happy.
