So someone at Apple forced you to buy an iPhone 3G? What exactly were you promised by Apple with respect to the iPhone 3G that they did not deliver on?

It's a shame bebops trolling -as he's been doing in various threads for a while now - is allowed to continue. Also, nice storage bumps for the phone - and dropping the 3g to $99 is very interesting.
What are you contributing to this discussion besides your obvious lack of understanding of the advertised features on the phone you bought?

3GS would only be for major tech junkies, IMO. 90% of the population would just by the $99 3G phone and be done with it or stick with the 3G if they already have it.

You can get it for free on the 17th. Then do yourself and everyone else a favor and sell your iPhone and never post in an iPhone thread again. Just a suggestion- of course, you're free to rant and ramble away and make yourself look like a spoiled ass as long as the mods don't mind.
Overall, not too much unexpected, but still pretty decent improvements. I will consider the upgrade at those prices, though I have an original 8gb model (which is still a great phone imo). Better speeds, more storage, better camera, video, compass, voice commands... I thought it was pretty good, and a better upgrade than the 3g was. Was there any mention of new text capabilities with 3.0? cut/copy/paste? I missed the first few minutes.
Damn you ATT for the whole MMS thing. I think I'm gonna upgrade to the new phone, but I won't be camping out or waiting in line, so I guess I'll wait a while after the hype's died down. The video is neat, but I wanna see how good the quality is. Voice control is cool, but may be a gimmick. Too bad there's no front facing camera though.
