If a cheap iPhone comes out for $99 Apple will continue to dominate the smart phone market. Pretty much everyone has an iPhone now but for $99 I expect Apple to at least double their userbase.
That's speaking large because of the iPhone's current status, which is that it is the greatest selling phone of all-time... But getting back to the $99 iPhone... It's certainly possible because if the 8 gb is available.. I can only see it being 99 max.

video calling aint happening on the ATT network. they dont have the network for it. see: slingbox app rejection.
Epic Fail... Video Calling is already on AT&T.... Slingbox application was approved and has been on the app store for a 2+ weeks.. please don't try to educate me on stuff that I excel on.. the network is more than capable of handling it. Also, it's rumored (well now it's basically going to happen, been a rumor for a while) that they will have different data plans, so you can choose a data plan... but I think for video calling it'll be a separate fee (like they have right now for the compatible phones for AT&T)
I know this is slant towards a certain product. If I'm to get a new phone in coming months I'll do my homework. But don't like quite like the iPhone New Phone Order swarm of hype that'll affect consumer opinion. Its making it like the IPhone is the ONLY phone out there thats innovative. Market share and having what my friends have does nothing for me. Guess I'm saying it'll be nice when there's future threads that talks about the BEST phone available and all the selections out there, like the Palm Pre thread that at least mentions an alternative.

When did I say it was the new iPhone? I said it could be a fake... I'm not being arrogant... I just hate when people don't check stuff before they post... acting like they know about it... but they don't keep up with the stuff. I'm far from an apple fanboy.. you can probably call me an iPhone fanboy, that's it, I don't own or look up anything else about Apple. That's what makes the anticipation fun..
