Ouch. Really I should have thought of that when I read your problem earlier, even if just for the hell of it. Just an FYI; a hard reboot is a good idea a lot of the time when you have any problems (hold power button and home button until it resets). This is even recommended any time you install a new App (like 'restarting the computer' after installing)
i wouldn't say all that... honestly what was the point of the first phone with no 3G? what about flash support in the browser? and it took them till now to implement copy and paste? it's a dang good phone but lets not get ahead of ourselves.
Apple Insider's report on iPhone 3G S faster than Palm Pre.. http://www.appleinsider.com/article...er_than_palm_pre_500k_sales_conservative.html
maybe wifi but i doubt it would beat sprint's hspda network. att still hasnt upgraded to 7.2mbps as far as i know. att=wack.
Yeah I don't think it's faster than Sprint's network, I was just referring to the loading speeds mainly... the overall performance, not really the network. This chart right here shows the upcoming networks.. LTE for Verizon and then Sprint follows shortly after with WiMax... HSDPA is the 7.2 mbps that AT&T is supposed to have, so it's really not that great.
So the iPone 3G S has been getting good reviews. I want to buy one. But I've also been thinking about the Nokia E71x. Which one should I buy considering everything including the price. I'm not under contract right now.
Well it depends on your preference. Do you like a physical qwerty keyboard better than a touchscreen one? Do you like apps, playing games a lot on your phone? I can say the iPhone is probably much more smoother than that E71X.. I've seen it though, it has a good web browser, and it's pretty simple to use. It's really up to you on what you want on your phone and how you're going to use it.
I just updated to 3.0 after three long hours. Did'nt have enough memory in my computer so I had to keep going back and delete some pr0n. I love that I'm finally able to text in landscape mode. No MMS yet????
Apparently Apple, in their "genius", finally decided to include it in the 3.0 software release, but AT&T in their "genius", decided they couldn't support it until later this summer...
i really wonder where the cell phone companies would be if iphone was available on all 4 networks. i am guessing verizon would be #1 and maybe followed by sprint.
I just go my first iphone today. Does anyone know what the best insurer for the iphone is? I found this company called squaretrade. http://www.squaretrade.com/pages/iphone-landing19 Does anyone know if they are legit?
Yeah, they are legit, they are the only third party insurance for the iPhone that I know of... well besides Best Buy.
I've had two cell phones insured through them. After the keypad went out in one and pixels went out in the other I sent them in. They replaced the parts and I had it back within 7 days or so(after they got it).
