    where is the 3.0 update? i just tried to update my phone this morning and it says that my software is the most current one


    i thought today was the release date? dont tell me its delayed

    I believe they said mid-day is when the update will be released. Not at the crack of dawn ;) .

    just in the past I remember software updates being available at midnight of the release day.

    I wasnt that eager to try to update at 12:01 last night I figured it would be up this morning when I got up (I also live out west so +3 hours really)

    but I guess not will have to download it late tonight then

    Yeah, I was doing the same thing last nite and early this morning too. I want my update damnit! But then I had to search of when its really going to release :( .

    I am going to upgrade my current iphone to iphone 3gs, brought mine on June 2rd.

    iPhone 3gs supposed to have 3.0 already.

    FYI - you also need the itunes 8.2 software, so you'll be prompted to do an update if you don't have it.

    did a sync and backup this morning will try to update mine when i get home from work tonight, hopefully by then the apple servers wont be hammered as much

    I wonder if on T-mobile you can send the MMS or video stuff if you have the jailbreak/unlock Iphone.

    You would definitely have to unlock the phone if you were using T-Mobile.

    My understanding is there is no soft unlock for 2.2.1 yet, not mentioning 3.0.

    However, you can buy sim unlock from ebay to fool the iPhone, right?
