The final two words of the finale were a good place to leave it for next season. Intriguing, but not so cliff-hangy that you can't stand it.
A lot of her driving around is like people re-living the Aftermath of Covid......and what it was like to live alone....... I am not so sure that part is really that entertaining, and waiting another 1-2 years for it. The Idea and Concept are way better than the Execution.....props to Vince for doing it.
I binged it over two days. Fun watch. I love the feeling I get after a good episode. It’s unlike any feeling I ever get watching any other show because it’s so bizarre and original. But, what I found hilarious was Carol can ask for anything right? Yet, she never asked them to update their long winded voice mail message. So, we heard it several times along with her every time she called in. It was frustratingly hilariously annoying to sit through that message every time she called in by Vince’s design. Also, I just saw Santa fly by as I’m up when I shouldn’t be.
Me personally I liked the fact that nobody Spoiler died in the end. (visibly, surely someone has in the world.)
i like this show and it's themes. i can see why people think it's slow because it is very slow, but it's interesting and thought provoking imo. vince loves a brutally slow build. I binged the last 6 episodes at 1.65x speed though. Cant wait for the episode/season when they go to Kepler-22b. i know that is going to be crazy.
Finally caught on to this and started watching over a week ago. It's a good show. Lots of intrigue. But it does suffer from the Gilligan trope of overdoing artsy cinematography, for instance the Sprouts scene. For a show that people are complaining is a slow burn, those scenes don't add much to the plot and ruin the attention span of viewers. It's not as vomit-inducing as The Bear's artsy full-length episodes, but viewers don't care much for it. Some of Manusos's hiking could've been condensed, too. I don't know how well this will survive until season 2. If it's gonna take 3 years to air, it'll lose a lot of viewers.
Are you referring to the episode on the bear where the dessert chef went to Denmark and/or where the host guy went to polish forks? Those were some of my favorite ones personally.
