Not really. Basically Jobs attitude made adobe so disuaded it's done. Apple has pissed off adobe before. Look at why macs no longer dominate multimedia...

If you can't wait a little longer and see what other Tablets that are coming out. You should take a look at the touchscreen Asus Eee PC T9 or Asus EeePC T91MT.

Not surprising the Air is limited.

I don't think they've had any real problem with Macbook sales, though.

Apple has always been about software and sandboxing hardware to corral it's loyal herd into it.

 

Those look interesting. Thanks for the heads-up. While I still want the iPad thingy to be something I'll want to buy, nice to know there are alternatives out there.
