[Apple] iPad 3/iPad 2S Announcement: March 7

How does the Verizon wireless agreement work? I have an original iPad through ATT and I love that I only pay for data by the month when I need it. Is Verizon offering the same thing? I can't stand the idea of giving either Verizon or ATT consistent money (I use Credo mobile for my phone service) by locking myself into a contract with them.

"oh f!ck here we go again" this is what is unbelievable. Over and over and over and over again you have to point out all the ways each and every apple product or service is not perfect. I think you get off on it. And I simply find it unbelievable. And now if you would like to continue in response about flash or something have at it.

 

No contract, go with Verizon if you're looking for that LTE coverage.

 

what if someone steals it from your door step??? i would have had fedex reroute it to a fedex location for pickup.

 

Just an FYI I own an iPod that's it. Have an android phone and a PC. Don't give a damn about apple one way or another.

FYI, a coworker just went to the Highland Village apple store and walked right in and bought a 32gb 4g. No line, no wait

 

Also, I just read via TCPJ's (The cell phone junkie) Twitter that your AT&T simcard WILL work in the Verizon iPad. At least for now.

Note* You'll only get 3G/HSPA+ connectivity if you put your AT&T sim card in the Verizon iPad Not AT&T LTE

Well, they sold out a little while after I posted.

 

Verizon has the HSPA+ (works with ATT) and an additional CDMA radio (for verizon of course).

ATT model does not have a CDMA radio..

ATT model only works on GSM networks..verizon model works on GSM and CDMA.

 

forgot to mention...LTE is not compatible with each other because ATT and Verizon uses different bands of the 700mhz.

i would buy the verizon model..knowing I can use LTE or CDMA with verizon..and then I can of course take it to ATT to use HSPA+.

Posting from it now. Screen is very sharp. I don't even need the mobile version and I can browse portrait without zooming in. Everything so far is very smooth and fast.

Not to be rude, but I don't see what you're trying to say, that you or I haven't already said lol. Unless you're trying to let other Clutchfans know, again. I guess I'm confused by you quoting me since I know what I am saying

 

I think Verizon and Apple are probably going to block AT&T sims from being used in a future update. What do you think?
