That iPod HiFi sure is expensive considering there are other 3rd-party solutions that do the exact same thing for alot less.
The Bose is a lot cheaper and I imagine sounds a lot better. My boss has the Bose setup in his office and it is damn impressive.
Here's the Case IMO, that thing is a complete waste of money. There's no way to access your iPod controls without taking it out of the case, although the "ingenious black ribbon" is sort of cool. But there are much cheaper, and better cases out there, even leather ones . . . even NICE leather ones.
Alright, so I recieved my Ipod Video today, I am wondering, how come I cannot see the album cover of a song I'm playing like it shows on the box? Do I need to update Itunes, which I think I have the latest version, maybe not? Or is there something I gotta turn on, on the Ipod? Any help is appreciated
You have to add the album cover pictures to your Itunes and associate it with the song. Then it will show up.
In case you haven't figured out how to add the album cover picture, select the song(s) and click "Get Info" and click over to cover art and find the appropriate pic file for the album (generally you have to supply the cover art yourself - i.e., download it from some site like amazon.como or something or scan it yourself). Also make sure that the display album cover art option is checked. This can be done through iTunes (I have 6.0.2 PC version and works fine) under the iPod options menu. Hope you got it to work.
Ok thanks, when I get the album cover will it automatically fit it to its correct size to fit on the screen? I'm not at my home computer, where all my songs are, or I would try myself. Thanks
Yes, it should. I generally tend to take cover art from random online music stores and fan sites and such without thinking too much about the size of the file (just try to get a decent resolution). It is somewhat of a pain to initially grab all the files, but I like having album cover arts displayed on my iPod. A nice touch. Enjoy.
Any suggestions? Would allmusics album covers be good enough? or do you know a site that has lots of album covers at good resolutions?
Off-topic, but wow... I haven't seen you post in a long time. Or are you lurking in the forum where monkeys fling poo?
I would look seriously at getting one myself, if you could slap in a good graphics card. That's a major downer, from my perspective, unless their graphics options are better than what I've read in the past.
No. I was gone for a while. Came back to check things out last week or so, I think. I have to stay out of the poo flinging section as much as I can as I get too worked up during political discussions.
