I agree. Hell even the Barkley/Pippen years produced some playoff wins. Drexler did more in one season than T-Mac did in all those years combined. And yes it is on T-Mac. Other players (e.g. Iverson) have done more with less. T-Mac just aint got it in him...
I'm fine with Rocket fans who want to see Tmac's best Rockets moments but we don't worship his Orlando days. Besides I remember those Orlando days, those were the days the Rockets dominated the Eastern Conference Teams. Rockets > Orlando Always.
Watching some of these videos made me remember how bad ass T-Mac was. What a waste of talent. If the guy wasn't so selfish he could have won a championship by now. The attitude he had last season is what ended his tenure here and quite possibly his career, or at least the career he is used to. What a shame.
I agree. Nobody ever questioned his natural talent. It has always been his attitude. He came off to me as lazy, his heart doesn't always seem to be in it, and he doesn't always put 100% on the court. I was ok with that as long as we were winning and he was producing. The 04-05 year with Sura, Wesley, and co. and the first round matchup with Mavs remains one of my favorite seasons, even though we ultimately lost. Tmac pretty much won us that game 2. Then he became a prima donna and thinks that he should have more than he deserves. It was always whining about his playing time and always run his mouth off to the media without talking to the team first. He brought this all on himself with nobody else to blame.
I really feel ashamed of you being an American. As a learner for ESL in China, you will never know how difficult to learn it. And i really wonder how well you can speak Chinese even giving you some year's training! I can say that you are completely a un-known person with any acknowledgement! Yes, i don't have that capbility to make such a Video. So you think that you are an all-round person? Can you make such a video? I really doubt about this!
I really have not realized this before and i don't believe what you said is true here. Actually we are all Yao-Lovers, we all hope Yao can make himself into a super-star. But sometimes it didn't turn into truth. So we could say We love Yao but also hate sometimes that he failed. It's just like the way how some parents love their child. And the way why people love Kobe or Nash or some people else. It's nothing to do with knowing this person or this city. It's all about enjoying their play. Kobe can really put some highlights and make some shoots, probably this is the reason why a lot people idol him. As i am a fan for Mac, because his plays looked very grace. he is a talented person with a so-so attitude. But we like watching him play on the court. the next reason could be that he can help Yao to win a championship. Although it finally turned out to be a failure, we still have faith on him and show appreciation for him. You can not abandon your child just because he failed. We don't want to betray anyone. Even in future he is not playing at all, we will also look for news about him. Just like MJ, so far he still has so many fans even if he is not playing at all. Thanks Mac for what he has done for Rox and what he has entertained us fans!
Thanks for your supports, those people who got sensational about my thread are really not looking into things objectively!!
can i re-edit this thread? Because I have put my email address in this thread, and everyday i received a lot SPAMS? Can anyone help me out this ?
Here's a Mac video with Steve Francis in it too1 Check out Mac's point defense! <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/AI9qD97z5SM&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/AI9qD97z5SM&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Eventually this thread will be moved to a different forum when T-Mac has his bags packed and thrown out of the city and hopefully locked when TOF's swarm that other forum for the rest of the NBA on CF. While I admire his athleticism and skills during his glory days, I cannot think of him as a Rockets player without ultimately getting sick to the stomach. Can't wait until you T-Mac worshippers leave with him...
