    nice article.

I am just wondering why aaron brooks is getting so much props around the league? He has had some positive moments, but nothing consistent enough to warrant the props hes getting, or so I think.

I think it's because everybody thought we had written off the season and would crumble when we traded our starting point guard at the deadline.

Brooks is in his 2nd season.. He hardly got any PT last season. Us Rockets fans expect more from him, I do not know why. He has only started 25 games? this season.

Anyone else find his anecdote about the Rockets "deciding whether to match" the 'Cats offer funny? No way did that decision take more than 3 secs(1 seconds to receive and process the information to the brain and 2 seconds to say "Hell yeah mwahahahahahaha, excellent!!!!") :p

Like I've said before, Sura is the only Rockets PG that fans haven't turned on at some point in time. And even he was probably just too short lived..

This should include "in the last 10 years".

    No Rafer love allowed! :p

Seriously, i rejoiced the day we traded Rafer and received Lowry in return, all the while shedding salary! How do you miss Rafer when we have two better PGs on the team?

Actually, brooks is meeting my expectations on point. I think it will take time for him and he hasn't meant his potential. That doesn't mean the media's praise of him is justified. I think Brooks is still a solid question mark.

This needs to be looked more that just the numbers.

Alston had played most of his games with an injured Tmac in the lineup. But when Tmac sits, Rox with Alston played very well.

Alston is not the long tearm solution, that's for sure, but that doesn't mean AB has already passed him.

The props are from Pac 10 coaches, not from NBA coaches.
