I agree with some others...lay off NugzFan and the potshots at him. He just happens to get a little animated sometimes, but can you blame him? Throwing in Rice's contract with anyone, even Shaq, is a terrible deal. I don't care about this moving around to get 3 picks to get Ming...Rice's contract is insane and Rudy and CD should be more than ashamed of taking it on.

HP had the best idea in doing a 3 way deal.

If you want to flame someone, flame me...hell, it's not like it has happened before to me here.

Two days ago, I got involved in all of this ish...and look where it has gone. It's really amazing....why are there so many nugzfan d!#k- suckers around here? For the record, screw this trade! nutz is, and has been correct about it all along. It's not worth it for either team, no matter how much we all argue about it. But the argument, that many have stressed, is not about the trade. It never really was about the trade for me! On the contrary, the thing that has upset many, including my self, in this thread is this clown's ridiculous vision that the Rockets and the nuggets are comparable in some unknown, & unreasonable way. Let's get this straight.....the nuggets shouldn't even be put in the same sentence, let alone, the same gasp of air as the Rockets. There is NO COMPARISON! I think it's safe to say that the only ones living in a "fantasy world," as it has been put, are those who believe otherwise.

Now, whatever....there wouldn't have been any personal bashing going on of nugz, if it weren't for the fact that he has downgraded everything that has to do with our organization, yet, many of you have placed him on a pedestal for some teeth-grinding reason. He has asked for everything that he has gotten from myself and many others in this forum. Every comment he has made, is an invitation for us to hate, due to his dirogatory remarks towards someone's opinions, someone's mental capacity, and our team. You can label this as his defense mechanism, but calling names and taliking **** is just like throwing gasoline on a fire: it's just going to get out of hand, and explode in your face, ten-fold....as we've all witnessed here. Like I said, he gets what he deserves. I told him before....don't bring direspect about the Rockets in a ROCKETS forum, and expect hardcore fans to take it with a grain of salt. It's just not feasable. Now, I'll admit, that everything else I've read of nugzfan has been good opinionated commenting, that was insightful, interesting, and honestly, I had the pleasure of viewing; that is, until he this thread began!

Basically, I'm man enough to admit that none of this bickering means a thing, nor will it get us anywhere, here, and anywhere else we want to apply it. I'm willing to forgive, forget, & apologize; and I'm sure he's willing to do the same thing. For one final time, please feel free to bash what I have said in this post to your heart's desire, nf, but after that, I hope we can put this, along with everyone else's smack, behind us......didn't mean for any of this to get out of hand. Props to the honesty in this entire thread, nonetheless.

You're right Manny, I started the post with a totally different perspective on things than when I finished it. So, once again, I apologize.

I know that your intent for this thread was not one to be a mud-slinging one.

And maybe it did seem like or sound like I was passing judgement, but it sure seemed like to me that there was lots of piling on on NugzFan.

I'm aware of his style, but I really think that your trade proposal was one that would never be given a fair chance by most people.

Like it or not, Glen Rice is just not someone that many people are going to look at it and say, "Let's get him because he can in an indirect way help us in getting Ming or whoever."

Add to the fact that some jumped on Nugz quickly and your good intentions went out the window.

Or let me put it another way: If you know that an animal is wounded, do you go up and hit it with a stick?

After the LaFrentz/Van Exel-Howard/Hardaway fiasco, I would think any trade that would even come close to favoring the other team would be a sore spot for Nuggets fans.

I wouldn't be surprised if there are other NBA BBS's in which a Rocket fan has been besieged by bad trade proposals (not saying that yours was, GATER, just using a general case) and the punchline is "Well, you traded for Glen Rice." I would say that would get tiresome for said Rocket fan.
