    Galaxy Note 10.1, easy.

From a productivity standpoint it's unparalleled. I don't fully understand why some review sites dock it from being made of plastic compared to the iPad but don't award it massive points for having genuine multitasking and pen input. I feel like I'm in crazy land.

Oh the war cry of the apple sheeple. Its Easy!!!

I find the IP5 to be ackward looking, and clumsy. Oddly like a overstretched IP4. This is the way apple decided to increase screen size? Really to merely make it longer. Would you be satisfied if TV's worked the same way? If you upgraded from a 42 inch TV to a 60 inch and it was merely made longer, you wouldn't think it to look odd?

Hey brah, cluttered with widgets is a personal choice. Its not like you have to have them....lol. Thats the beauty of Android. You want them, put them on. You don't like it...don't put it on. Out the door goes your minimalist arguement. Cluttered mess is several screens of icons. I could have all empty screens if I wanted. Hows that for minimalist.

Yeah broski let's label someone who likes an apple product as a sheep!

I actually don't let Apple for the most part. I think macs are probably the worst thing ever.

Aesthetics are a matter of preference. I think the iphone 5 looks amazing. Most people would agree, but whatever.

The iPhone is a great device. Anyone who says different is just being a mindless hater. The same is true for the latest Android phones: they are amazing devices, and any Apple fanboy who says different is sipping the Haterade. I prefer Android, but that doesn't mean I can't acknowledge the things Apple does well: interface (for the most part), screen quality, general design. I'm also mindful of the features Apple lacks: customization, open source development, new technology integration, screen size, etc.

Just buy whichever one fits your needs.

I think this states everything perfectly.

I have no real clear preference between brands or operating systems. Whichever one fits my needs best at the time is the one i'll pretty much always go with.

CNET penalizes the HTC One X for not having Micro SD expansion and removable battery like the Samsung Galaxy III. Yet, the iPhone 5 is amazing. I don't understand why iPhone is reviewed with such a handicap compared to other phones on most websites. It has it's own review scale independent of other phones.

Very true, and one of the reasons I never trust ratings from these type of sites. The Android phones always get dinged for the things missing from Apple devices (Retina displays, iTunes integration, OS design, etc.). In a true head-to-head matchup, the iPhone should be dinged for:

    - no micro SD
    - no removable battery
    - no NFC
    - no widgets
    - no MTP/USB mass storage support
    - no true multi tasking
    - no alterntive keyboards (or, really, UI customization at all)
    - no universal micro USB support
    - no micro HDMI support
    - no USB OTG support.
    - no Flash support (yes, it's dying/dead, but many websites still use it, and a little backwards compatability isn't too much to ask)

And that's just off the top of my head. I'm sure there are plenty more.

This sounds like a 80s debate between apple 2e's and c's and ibm. I like the samasung pesonally. I dont like the heavily dedicated stuff by apple. They've always been like that and thats why they flopped the first time around. Right now, they're on top of their game and thats great. I took my daughter to nursing school in august and she had the i phone4s and left her charger. Needless to say, she couldnt use my mini charger cable for my phone. I do alot from my phone, but not as much as someone who runs a multi million dolar business. I am a business owner and i can do what i need to from my phone when i need to. Its just a choice and opinion, not right or wrong.

I simply love the GS3 but one of the big reasons I bought it was how customizable it was. I'm sick of the appearance of my phone as I have it set up. Then I see the amazing things that folks do with theirs.

My question is this, even though many of these Android message boards will tell you what apps/widgets they used to create their appearances I'm still at a loss for words on how to actually do it. For example, I love this:

I've tried to learn widget locker and UCCW. Way over my head. Do I just need to realized that I'm doomed to having a GS3 that looks like a iphone (cause that would be a bummer)? Do you know of services that help you to customize the appearance of your Driod? Any help would be appreciated.

Its hard to explain, for me, how to change the look of your screen. Id say start off small with something like AW launcher and Beautiful widgets. Play around a bit, and you will start learning the basics.

Youtube also has a lot great tutorials that makes it simple.

Wait till you figure it out and find a good sports theme. Absolutely awesome.

Download Nova Launcher on your GS3. Widget Locker is not as optimized for ICS+ devices, neither is ADW even with it's latest update . There are several themes for it. I also like "HD Widgets" and "Beautiful Widgets"

I switched from apple to android...and find that the droid applies better to me...I still love PCs...apple started the market, but right now everyone is on even playing grounds...cant go wrong with which ever you chose...personally...the sg3 is the best in terms of function...but in terms of size...iphone5 looks sleek...

Unless you have a Verizon Wireless device that is specifically called a "Droid", Android phones are not Droids. lol
