Looking at the Commercial for Wrestlemania for 119$
I had to figure a significant number of people still into Wrestling

I don't hate it but cannot imagine paying to see it

I used to LOVE wrestling. My uncles worked as ushers at the old Sam Houston Coliseum and I would get in for free with them. I watched up until around 2001. The last wrestling event I attended was Wresltemania 17. Now I couldn't tell you what the hell is going on and who is who? I have simply lost interest in the show.

The last pay per view I bought was WM17. I'm trying to remember the last landmark I saw before I stopped... It was before the merger with WCW but that did get me back in for a couple months.

I was big into WCW then started to watch both after the SM left DX (the mike tyson fight) and watched mostly the wwf after the Survivor Series where the Rock won the championship and turned heel.

Completely abandoned the WCW after the fingerpoke of doom.

Anyone else go to the Raw is War in houston where the Undertaker returned as a dead dude? I think it was in 1999.

I still watch. It is nowhere near as good as what it used to be, but the art of wrestling and ringwork is still there.

TNA Wrestling is doing some really good things now.

I will be at WrestleMania 25 in Reliant Stadium in April.

    It is my guilty pleasure.

Stopped watching it after Wrestlemania 2003. Loved WCW/nWo (hence my moniker) before the WWE had to buy it and crap all over it. Then the Rock and SCSA left, so it's been sucking since then.

You might like the Main Event Mafia going on in TNA wrestling right now.

Scott Steiner, Booker T, Sting, Kurt Angle and Kevin Nash.

    Really good stuff.

The Outsiders (Nash and Hall), Hulk, Goldberg, Sting.....they use to bring the glitz and glamour to WCW/nWo (For non-wrestling fans - youtube Hogan/Goldberg - most hyped match in the history of WCW’s Monday Nitro and 40,000+ to witness it at the Georgia Dome).

Nowadays, those guys are old news and leftovers from WWE.....

Steiner is starting to sag, Nash looks like he needs a rocking chair, and Sting doesn't show his grays by dyeing his hair to wrestle.

Booker T was better as a face and good w/ Harlem Heat.

I liked Angle when he was pompous and had his Olympics angle. Now, meh.

I stopped watching around the time Kurt angle shaved his head and became a fan favorite instead of being booed.

Haven't seen it in like 10 years but was flipping through channels a few weeks back and all the scrubs from when I was a kid are like champions now it just feels weird. Are Stone Cold and Shawn Michaels still wrestling?

i was mostly into WWF wrestling as a kid.. back when it was more family oriented.. where mostly everyone from any age group could enjoy it.. then the whole "attitude", "Degeneration X", "NWO" era began.. which was more concentrated to the teenage male target audience.. which I was at the time.. so I still liked it.. though not as much as before.. and of course.. the 20 year old males who seemed more apt at socializing with teenagers than people their own age or older..

once I reached 18 years of age.. I lost all interest.. became annoyed by the whole thing really..

I stopped recently after watching the movie, The Wrestler. I didn't realize the sport was fake and scripted until a month ago when I watched the film.

What do you mean? I also was surprised many of these athletes take steroids as well.

Wow, me too! I was really bummed out about it. Luckily I scored a couple sweet real estate deals that day, a great deal on a bridge in Brooklyn and a steal of a price on a lot of land in Florida, so my day kind of evened out in the end.
