Hey, many pesticides are low level nerve agents. So it is a WMD, for insects, anyways. We prevented Iraqi farmers from using WMD! Meanwhile, in our second strike on Saddam: (this link may last only one day.) http://www.sacbee.com/24hour/special_reports/iraq/story/845197p-5936010c.html Iraqi rescue workers pulled three bodies from the rubble - an elderly man, a young woman and a little boy - but said the toll could be as high as 14. There were no unusual security measures; a reporter was able to examine the site, talk with neighbors and watch the search without interference. How about our special forces just freaking storm the *right* building and shoot the right person instead...
With the President's drive to find chemical weapons and biological weapons I'm sure that the chlorine and HCL that I use to clean my pool and my week old roast beef sandwich in the fridge would cause the "We found WMD Alarm!"
Trader Jorge, The point you are failing to grasp is we aren't just trying to win, we are trying to develop some diplomacy in the region. So, Bush better find his WMD, and B) we need to do everything we can to treat the citizens fairly. If the rest of the Arab world thinks we are terrorizing Iraq's citizens, we are going to lose a lot of support after this war is over, and we can't have a stable post war government if Iraq's citizens, as well as the surrounding countries don't support us.
The other thing we could do after the next such strike is to bring snipers in and off the Saddam look-alike or The Saddam himself (if we were so lucky) when he comes out to do his perp walk/Superman impersonation for the crowd. I doubt Saddam is seeing much daylight these days.
