i remember this and it was fun as hell. my friends and i played this game in pecan grove growing up. but instead of the objects you listed above, we would all bring our KOOSH balls with us. good ol' days.
The girls and sometimes guys used to play a game called MASH where MASH stood for Mansion, Apartment, Shed and House; we then went on to pick three really nice items from random groups which included things like Cars, Boys or Girls we "liked", where we would live when we grew up, the color of our cars and other things. the trick was each category included a ratty choice like the ugliest girl in school or a Ford Pinto, then the other person would start drwaing a spiral until you told them to stop. They would count the rings in the spiral to get a number. Then you counted through each item including the MASH until only one item from each group was left. It was BS though cuz I don't live in Aspen with Debbie Gibson and drive a Lamborgini to my job as a Doctor and home to my Mansion, man, life was so promising back then
Oh man, I forgot all about that. There were also those fortune-telling oragami things we used to make all the time.
