    ditto

The two monsters are on a T-Mac tear at the moment. John wouldn't have a job if he wasn't cynical about everything. It gets old fast with him.

This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.

    Ever.

I swear to you, I'm not even kidding. The ridiculous factor of this proposal is off the charts.

"yeah lets trade TMac for Wally Sczerbiak" = "yeah lets trade TMac for Boris Diaw"

I KNOW WHATS GOING ON HERE!!!!!

Cavs are trading LeBron + Pavlovic for Tracy and Head

Cavs do lebron a favor and gets him a championship while they get Tracy who expires in 2010 and Head who comes off this year.
Then in 2010 Lebron resigns with Cleveland with a championship!!!

    Too hopeful?

Diaw was 1st round pick, it would be a PHENOMENAL deal I guess.

I'd say this is a fair critique but you never know. He may have it but he doesn't show it. He may have more than you know.

Or maybe you are right. Maybe he does have will and determination, but not at the level of some of the game's elites.

But then again, you have to admit, few people really have that "will to win" until they win, as it turns out. People thought KG had a will to win when he was in Minnesota, but it was just him being his "wearing-emotions-on-sleeve" self. Not saying there's anything wrong with it, but just because you don't show it doesn't mean it's not there.

What if Tim Duncan never won (assuming he played well but had no talent)? I think people would be quick to question his will and his fire. But since he has won, people acknowledge he has it in spades. He doesn't show it at all though.

Exactly. That is exactly what he did.

    Exactly x infinity.

When I saw this thread title, I was laughing because I figured someone read the Sam Smith thread and it got lost in translation. Still, I was curious, clicked into the body of the thread and saw "Hoopsworld" -- just put my head in my hands from there. Should have known... lol. Bill Ingram reads the daily news, regurgitates it without reference and at times completely makes stuff up in order to get way ahead of it (be "first"). In this case, the Sam Smith talking-to-himself speculation.
