Anyone listening to 790? (McGrady for Szczerbiak trade rumor)

Off topic but I wish we could have picked up Mo Williams this offseason...I've always liked his game a solid PG who can pass, drive, dish, and shoot the 3. I don't think the Bucks got much in return for him anyways.

 

he shoots around 42-43% in the playoffs. he doesn't shoot worse.
but he GOES TO THE LINE MORE
he REBOUNDS more
he ASSISTS more
he BLOCKS more
he STEALS more

it's not about taking more shots. his overall level of play goes up another notch.

remember last yr going down the stretch tracy looked like a scrub where he barely could score 15 points. then suddenly the playoffs start and he was putting up near triple doubles?

tracy is no hakeem, but he steps up in the playoffs. most guys do WORSE in the playoffs b/c of the pressure.

 

Since the Raptors are shopping Jason Kapono, lets work out a deal for we can send Head.

Why would Minnesota do that trade? One of the reasons McHale made the Mayo for Love trade was to add Mike Miller to the team.

 

It would depend on whether they wanted Artest's bird rights or expiring contract.

This is how dumb rumors start. Some writer (Sam Smith) gives his opinion on some trades that might make sense involving McGrady (not trade rumors, not even speculation, just throwing out ideas that could make sense for teams). Then on the radio they talk about it like its an actual rumor. And then the rumor gets attributed to another source who happens to be talking about it (in this case, Bill Ingram from Hoopworld).

 

i know that this is just utter bs

but if the rockets ever made a ridiculously lop sided traded like this I would have to seriously think about continuing being a fan while current management still ran the team.

heck I would trade tmac for stevie, cuttino and cato --the players they are today before i would trade tmac for wally.


i am not opposed to seeing tmac traded if the right deal came along, but he is probably the most important player behind yao on this team.


its all frustration speaking out...if tracy comes back in jan better than ever we will forget all of this in due time.

It's funny how this happens every year. Last year it was so ridiculous, ESPN was writing story after story basically assuming that the Rockets were going to dump McGrady ANY MINUTE NOW ... and of course naturally on the BBS people were going nuts, and those of us who tried to explain that there was zero chance of it happening were looking like the kooks.

So here we go again...

Rockets with szczerbiak would not even make playoffs. Than Yao would go frustrated and would say : I want a trade
