Austin has a Gamestop in Barton Creek Square Mall. But I asked them about a DreamCast in December and their deal wasn't really much better than Best Buy, esp. considering that it wasn't new equipment. ------------------
Umm, yeah... thats cuz Dreamcast doesn't use CDs. It uses GD-ROMs (a cute little name Sega's manufacturer came up with). It's a proprietary format that holds more than a normal CD (1.4GB to be exact... that's where the "G" in "GD" comes in) only retains the same shape. Most Dreamcast games take up a large amount of the room they have to use, so thats why you can't burn and w**** off Dreamcast games like you can Playstation games. Not as easily anyway. Oh, and if you can get to West Oaks Mall on the corner of Hwy 6 and Westhiemer, they were selling Dreamcasts in KB Toys for $69.99. Information only useful if you Do live within the Houston area. ------------------
