I've gone to Lake conroe, Lake Houston, and Trinity river to see if i can catch some crawfish with this trap I've made; usually, i place the trap in 4-6 ft of water. I've put the trap in rocky areas and areas that have a lot of debris ( trees and tree stumps) . I've used chicken legs and thighs, chicken liver, raw carp skin and leftovers, and catfish. Does anybody know what bait would work best? Any places that you've caught or heard of, that have some of these critters?(besides bayous or in the trench by your house ) this is what the trap looks like (not it but similar): thanks
