We had Sprint for several years and loved them, but got tired of the dropped calls. About 5 years ago we switched to T-Mobile and haven't looked back. Their coverage wasn't as extensive, but the dropped calls disappeared. I also switched my company to T-Mobile about the same time. I joined a new company last May that was on T-Mobile. 2 months ago we switched nationwide to Sprint. What a major flop! T-Mobile's coverage and reliability in Houston has improved big time over the years, but Sprint's apparantly has not. My company made a big mistake. Bottom line: Don't switch to Sprint from T-Mobile if you live in Houston. I hope the rumors about T-Mobile buying Spring are false. It would crash.
I love the coverage, excellent customer support that sprint provides. I previously switched from T-mobile since I experience a high volume of drop calls. The best provider would be Verizon, then Sprint. Bad experience with T-moblie and (canceled my services within 30 days with ATT).
Been with sprint for close to 10 years as well. Customer service always able to help knock off some $$ off plan. No big problems with dropped calls and seem to have service when friends on aTT don't. Cost is alot less as well. What is the premier plan?
Well, I'm still not entirely sure if it's the network or the phone. Its a iPhone vs one of the first generation curves, but yes, the ATT call quality is much better. There are times when I'm making work calls from sprint to sprint and I can hardly understand what they are saying. Although I have not experienced any dropped calls with Sprint but my Sprint phone usage is 10% of my personal phone usage.
My personal phone is on AT&T, but I was provided an iPhone 4S on Sprint (no LTE) from my job yesterday. Is it even possible to get more than 300kbps on this 3G network? I had Sprint before back in 2010 and don't remember it being this terrible. It's insane. EVDO (CDMA 3G) theoretically can reach 3.1 mbps, and I know Verizon 3G works pretty decently but I can't even stream Pandora...
Coverage is not very good with Sprint especially with 4G. They kept on promising coverage areas that seems to never materialize. The only reason why I stay with them is that I think they are the only ones who provide unlimited data plan. Prices are reasonable too. Never had problems with customer service.
I have a 4s with Sprint, never have a dropped call and the coverage has always been decent. My only complaint is that the internet is so sloooowwwww. Seems to have gotten better recently, but sometimes its so slow it times out. Been with them for about 10 years and its a lot more affordable than verizon or att. Take good with bad.
