Stuff like that isn't that hard to do if you have the time. I've helped a neighbor witha fence and put on my deck and helped with numerous other decks. But I would:
    1. Goto Home Depot and have them map it out for you. If nothing else figure out materials needed and they can give you quantities. Most of the employees have done it before so they can help.
    2. Unless your soil is almost perfect I would definetely get an auger. Digging in bad dirt (or worse clay) can take an entire day. It will cost you a $150 bucks to rent one but I promise you it will be worth it (unless you have 18 inches of topsoil in your backyard!)
    3. Also call the utility company to make sure you not diggin over any lines. Even if here is already a fence there call, you never know if they guy before you just got lucky when he was digging.
    4. Then plan out where you want the holes before you get the auger.
    5. Finally (Most importantly) get a case of beer and some steaks. You'd be surprised how many people will help with outdoor projects with a little beer and dinner!

    Good luck!

    1. I've already mapped it out...it's only 90 feet per side.
    2. I can rent one for $50 a day...Plenty of time
    3. They just finished laying the electrical and plumbing lines 38 inches deep. I am only going 24 inched on the post holes.
    4. I'll mark stake the spots where the hole will go
    5. I gave up all drinks but water for lent. I wonder if I can soak some fruit in everclear and eat it...does that count?

I might sound like an ass for this, but I don't like to have others helping me wth the projects that I undertake. My experience is that with good intentions comes a lot of mistakes...especially with drinking involved. I remember when my ex father-in-law "fixed" my lawn tractor and it had a huge gap between the dual blades when I would cut with it.
I also remember when he "fixed" my ex's jeep by taking out the thermostat in her car...30 minutes later it overheated and spit out all the antifreeze...Oh, and when he "fixed" our air con window unit and poped a whole in the condenser line...

    Thanks but no thanks.

    :)

Do you mean to say you putt from the rough? Again, not that there's anything wrong with that.

Done...simple job. I know I can put that fence up. I have to wait for this thunderstorm to pass through and for the builder to lay the dirt and level the ground. Then I'll have to order 10 palletes of Floretam and lay them down. (I'm also saving $500 in setting the grass myself) I might put up the poles on the four corners Friday. Then I can be ready to continue when everything else is done. The money we save on that can go towards a brick wall for the front sideyard.

BTW, we locked in at 5.5%...
