That's true, however, you either have to watch the shows on your PC or move your PC around so you can hook it up to your TV.
Unfortunately, not all DVD players play VCDs (neither of my 2 do). In addition to the cost of a PC card, you also need a CD burner and a DVD player. Also, the shows may not fit on a single CD and if they do, the quality will leave something to be desired.
That's why I want to get a DVD burner and a new DVD player that reads DVD-R(and all of it's other flavors).
Ugh...I'm trying to cancel my friggin' monthly fee deal, and the hold time is <B>35</B> minutes. Of course, you can't do that online, that'd be too easy.
