How many mins do you play per quarter? I'm playing 5 mins and my offensive rankings are horrible. If I played a longer time period, I think I would be fine. Is the CPU simming the other games at 15 mins?
Yes the CPU sim is 15 minutes. that is one of the things on my wishlist for the future is to get that adjustable. I have been playing 2-5 minute quarters depending on time constraints. I have my created Lamar Cardinals(balanced) at 5-0 and ranked 22/24 playing as an independant. I have given up 0 points and I am ranked good defensively but my offense is ranked horrid despite playing very well. And I guess I spoke too soon. The ps2rosters reportedly could be out as early as this weekend.
I'm about 10 minutes into this game. I renamed all my UH players fake names. How do you import rosters on xbox? Do the conferences really invite you to join? that's cool. Mascot game was realtively amusing. Tutorial was sweet. That's all I've done so far.
Oh. What are best settings for the sliders (penalties and stuff). Is that on the net? I want the game to be competitive and realistic. Thanks.
you have to have this thing called "action replay" a usb connnection on one end to plug into your computer and download files. The other end of the cord plugs into a memory card.
It is the same as action replay. I have had one for a good while but from everything I have heard get the action replay. They are supposedly much better. You can pick those up at most gaming or electronic stores.
I have two brand new ones sitting in my closet. Id be willing to send one your way for free assuming you pay for the shipping charges.
Doh!!! I just bought one on my lunch break. Thanks anyway, Drew. I just checked ps2rosters.com and it looks like that guy is done? Or maybe not, I'm pretty clueless on all this. The directions for downloading look pretty complicated (for an imbecile like myself anyway). Anyway, I don't even have the game yet. I've got one on reserve at Circuit City for tomorrow.
I've done it a bunch of times and it is pretty easy. Email me through the bbs and I can walk you through it. The ps2rosters for 2004 won't be on that site until tomorrow. He has the old 2003 rosters on there now.
Hey DrewP, If you're not using one of the extra 'Ports I'd be more than happy to pick it up and we can work something out. I work out here in Katy (where I believe an earlier post said you live) so I'm out here all the friggin' time anyway.
No but the guy at PS2 rosters will be releasing an X-Box set also. There are other sets being worked on and you can find at www.ncaaheaven. com. Just check out their NCAA Forums and you'll see the info on them. CK
Drop me an email at DrewP@houston.rr.com Im gonna drop off one at DVs house tomorrow, so give me some some info before I give away the other one.
I just did the BYU-SMU challenge. What I did was play defense for two downs, call TO. Then I picked off SMU's pass with a backer and took it to the house. 45-32, 1:59 left. Then I kicked off again. Held them twice, called my 2nd TO. Stopped em on 3rd, and forced the punt which I got to about my 30. A Hail Mary and a deep post later it's 45-39, with around 40 seconds left. So, obviously since I only had 1 TO left, I onside it. I get a lucky bounce and recover. A deep post or two later and it's 46-45 me, with 22 seconds left. Then I held and got it done. And its 21 in 2:33, not 4:45. PS: I have a 78 game winning streak going at Ohio State and am playing for my 6th straight national title.
Well I ended up beating it a couple of days ago(actually I have beaten all the scenarios) I found that if you want to recover an onside kick just choose normal kickoff formation. then put skill guys with good cth attributes on the left. Point the kick arrow all the way down and to the left. then kick it real soft ( I try to keep the power in the yellow) and you have a much better chance to get it than you do using onside. I won 50-46 and recovered 2 onside kicks.
wow, I haven't even attempted it yet, it looks so ridiculously hard. I've gotten through a couple more of the other challenges, though. I haven't had a chance to try them all, as I've been focusing on my dynasty, and inputting roster names. With that said, I'm michigan, and I'm in my 2nd season. Finished 11-2 in my first season, screwed Ohio St. out of a nat'l championship game and a rose bowl by beating them, though. I went on to beat Wazzuu in the Rose Bowl, and I'm riding an overall 9 game winning streak. I'm 5-0, heading into conference play. I'm so lucky that I talked Braylon Edwards into staying for his senior year- he's been PIMP for me.
Ah, so you go into formation subs and put all your good skill players on that side, I presume. I have been playing my dynasty more so I haven't done all of the challenges, but they are fun. As is a 78 game winning streak at Ohio State, going for my 6th straight national title and 79th win in a row soon. As far as old time teams, I have UT, OU, Miami, VT, Clemson, LSU, Michigan, and maybe another, plus a few all american teams in the 90's-00's. Bottom line, best game I ever have owned, I can't put it down.
