Mess with Texas was fun. I have to say the best free event I went to was the do512 The Big One showcase (holy f**k, auto body, hood internet) on Saturday, despite the weather. I am a sucker for free shiner and creative time signatures. I worked audio at Lose Control 2 at Vice, anybody here get a chance to check out the event? If you saw a blond kid in an Olajuwon jersey running around and freaking out, that would be me. Crystal Method was the highlight for sure. Other great shows: The Couch, Fu**ed Up, Cool Kids, Octopus Project, bigbang, Alpha Rev, We Were Promised Jetpacks, Sondre Lerche, Here We Go Magic, Everything Everything, Pretty Lights Only regrets are missing The Fall of Troy farewell show, that both Muse shows were too crowded and not being cool enough to get into the Perez Hilton party with Snoop Dogg. Anybody get in to that one?
