Wow that was just a sick game...i wish i could have been there. It was exciting here at Live with the people watching the games...but i can't even begin to imagine how great it was at the game.
That game was great, the atmosphere was amazing. All of the America fans were out in force and it was an outstanding comeback by Barcelona. Couldn't have asked for a better game.
I just got back from the game, and it was great! Here's the video I took at the game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IaEVcr_AHIg <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/IaEVcr_AHIg"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/IaEVcr_AHIg" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> Photos:
The game was awesome, so loud in there. 70000 people. The best part was how when ever Ronaldinho did a move or had the ball, the crowd just bursted into ooo's and aaa's
the game was amazing if ronaldinho would of scored on the free kick though the place would of gone crazy still one of the coolest sporting event ive been too
england stayed at the st. regis in nyc last summer, i was there. well not staying at the hotel as i'm too poor for that, but there meeting up with the players. was at the barca game, got to meet messi, silvinho, giuly, thuram, xavi, puyol, gudjohnsen and gio and rijkaard, ronaldinho, deco and etoo left without coming out to meet the press, a pretty sh!tty move on ronaldinho's part. did anyone see the fights, there were at least 3 fights that me and my boy saw, i dunno if its a case of mexicans drinking too much and gettin into it or what went down, but it was some serious punchups, and the cops were no where to be found.
I was loving the game and I could only watch it on time warner cable. I bet it was amazing in person.
That was a hell of a comeback... down 3-1 with 10 to play... I had a great time until a bunch of drunk assholes started throwing beer at one another and catching everyone in the cross-fire. Next time, I'll just try and get better seats.
SoooOOoooo... I am sure you asked for their BIRTH CERTIFICATEs to know they were Mexican, yes yes? Sure, we drink a lot; sure, we're "party animals"; sure, we're fighters, not lovers and... you get the idea...? The paper reported this morning the people fighting were Italian, Mr. Ferrari. EDIT: thank YOU, kpsta. EDIT2: This should be in the HANGOUT if not talking about the DYNAMO. I certainly am not.
I just can't believer the attendance - 70,550 people. Amazing! I think they mentioned it was the most people at a sporting event yet at that stadium.
sorry swol, well i did see two of them leaving after the fight and both spoke spanish and wore club america jerseys but sorry about that, my british brethren also get a tad feisty after a few drinks, i was just ticked off cos its a meaningless friendly and people should just be chillin watching the european champions in action.
[ahnold]No problemo.[/ahnold] Dude, I agree. NOt enough security. Rafa Márquez leaving from the stadium.
