Anyone fan of Rockets because someone they like is on team?

I've never been much of a player only guy. I like the Rockets. Even when players I have really liked moved on like Hakeem, Chuck Hayes and Kyle Lowry, I just stopped following them because I have no interest in other teams.

Dwayne Wade used to be my favorite player, but I never followed the Heat.

The most I have followed a player or team outside of the Rockets has been this year when it comes to Westbrook and OKC. Because reasons known to some, OKC L's dominate my life.

 

I followed Jerry from way back.

Now I post kellerman threads on how garbage frauden is for payback

Mavs and spurs are the two best texas teams

 

I'd love to root for the Rockets, but unfortunately I'm an Alessandro Gentile only fan. Might be a bit.

 

Glad harden only fans exist lol. I knee steph, lebron, and westbrook had fans.

Glad there are neutral fans out there that prefer harden

I was a big Niagara University fan when they had Calvin Murphy, it was a thrill watching him scoring 68 against Syracuse University, oh boy time fly fast, I could not find this site before 2013, but those 2013thers are true Rockets fans

 

been a fan since the 2001-2002 season, but I got a lot more invested in the team once T-Mac was traded here

I was starting to really dislike Steve Francis his last season here, and that team under JVG ran such ugly offense that it made them hard to watch. T-Mac had been my favorite player since day 1, so once we traded for him that’s when I really started not missing any games.

... not really, Rox fan since my childhood in Houston in the late 70s / early 80's...

 

Came in on the ground floor in 1971 when the Rockets came from San Diego. I was twelve.

 

Luckily we've already had Chinese dudes on the team.

P.S. It's not racist to call them Chinese if they are in fact Chinese.

I was doing rails with Lucas and Lloyd and fell in love with the sheer volume of coke that was being vacuumed up. Been a Rockets fan ever since.
