It's been suddenly happening to me. My internet will work like it normally does, but then it would stop to a standstill. It still works, but pages take ages to load, and my download/upload speeds become worse than dail-up. Is it a problem on my end like a router or something (which never had a problem before) or is it on the ISP? I have Earthlink by the way (I think it's connected to Comcast, since that Earthlink was part of Time Warner).

I think it's your modem. I think it's near or off the comcast supported modems list. It has happened to me and my BIL.

Get the motorola surfboard and you will see much improved connection speed than even before your old modem started slowing down.

Yup. Comcast has ruined my intranet experience. I'm on cable and it's almost as fast as dial-up now. Google "comcast throttling internet connection" and you'll get a lot of good reading, especially if you're a bit-torrent junkie.

**** Comcast. I only wish FIOS were available.

I don't know much about computers, but is there a way to find out what kinda p*rn someone's been checking out after they delete it form the history? Does it automatically delete the cookies if it's gone from the history?

Sorry FL, but I have to ask every guy on here not to answer your question for the sake of their fellow closet masturbators.

Besides, do you really want to know that your boyfriend's into scat and bukkake?

Ugh no wonder, I'm reading this article: http://torrentfreak.com/comcast-throttles-bittorrent-traffic-seeding-impossible/ and I use Bittorrent and private, ratio-hoarding trackers all the time. No wonder it craps out at random times...

    Ugh...
