He played very well on the defensive end in my opinion, but looked like the old Ariza we all know on O. Then again he was defended pretty well himself.
Spurs obviously made it a point to run us off the line and defend the 3...which is fine because we just went inside and pounded them in the paint.
Would love to play warriors in the playoffs instead of the clips and blazers. 3 starters out and still held them under 100 pts.
This is what you call karma. Stop making fun of the other player when he is on a slump. Ariza will be fine though, he'll rebound back.
Well regression is a b**** but he still played well in other areas. Not having Howard really allowed the defense to tighten up on him.
Through the first 5 games of the season, 70% of all Ariza's field goal attempts were 3-point attempts. And he was converting them at a ridiculous 60% rate. Are people actually shocked that this was not a sustainable level of performance?
crappy game, but I think he is still better than I expected him to be. What I do disagree with are idiots saying he's a better overall player than Parsons. Towards the end of the season I guess we'll see.
Wished the regression would have been a little less blunt, but we knew it would happen. He obviously wasn't going to shoot 55% from 3.
I apologize for making you cry in the other thread, but I gotta keep my b****es in check. Why you still mad sweetheart?
I had my worries about ariza. I know this can be chalked up to one bad game. But do you guys remember casspi and Garcia at the start of last season? I know they are lesser players but they were hitting everything at first and by the end couldn't see the floor
Casspi and Garcia only played well in the preseason. Ariza is still shooting 44% from 3 this season so I expect it to drop a little more still. Regression is a b****, Ariza will have a fine year though. Lots of shots that are normally there for him weren't there tonight, Dwight being out had a lot to do with it.
