    It didn't really matter since I don't have any games for the 360 (other than Halo 2).

    The beta is not on the disc, just the ability to get into the download for the beta. It is about a gigabyte, so be prepared for a lengthy download.

    Crackdown owners who want to join the Halo 3 Beta today are out of luck, at least for the moment. The Beta was scheduled to go live at midnight last night, on Wednesday, May 16th. But due to an unforeseen glitch, the Beta is still not available for download.

    what do you mean code? the halo3 beta download thing is greyed out on the crackdown menu. is their a code you have to put in crackdown to get it to work?

    No, I got in on the "Rule of Three" offer a couple of months ago. Then, last week, I got a Friends and Family invite so I have the beta already.

    i'll have to do it late tonight. i'm not at home. hopefully the crackdown will be fixed. you think these fools would know that 75% of the people bought the game for the halo3 beta.
