Anyone else notice T-Mac getting booed when his video was on the screen?

It's pretty sad that the Toyota center was lowder when they booed Tracy than they were actually cheering all night. Very sad actually.

ugh stfu, who CARES if he picked the lakers to win it all, yes he could have lied, but everyone picks the lakers or cavs to win it all, THEY ARE THE BEST, THEY ARE BETTER THAN THE ROCKETS, thats not to say we can't beat them, but we have to play perfect basketball, they are just a better team...get over it and except realistic opinions, yah and i found it lame that people boo him, so pathetic, booing our own player as he sits on the bench unable to defend himself, i hope to god he comes out and plays well next year and says f u houston for not believing in me...pathetic yes YOU are pathetic im so disgusted with all you babies whining about tmac ALL THE FRIGGING TIME, every other thread has to include tmac, and every other remark has to include some way of putting him down, get a life

That is sad and classless, Tracy deserves a lot of things but booing your own player is just not done unless you see everybody fighting and one guy giving up but not like this.

I think you really need to rethink yourself when your proud of booing T-mac and you probably booed him louder then you booed the Blazers

once again people with the attention span of a goldfish boo T-mac because he had knee surgery. These are the same people more than likely who were booing and clamoring when Tracy during the pre-season was saying he would have to get surgery during the offseason... how turrible? Guys need to grow up even i had to do a flash back and remember that. I wont lie i was trashing him at the beginning of the season for the comments but when someone is brutally honest (at least in this situation) and he turns out to be right what does that tell you, any micro fracture surgery is not a "minor" surgery any knee pain is significant especially when you're playing a professional sport which puts alot of shock/pressure on your knees

They are not booing because he had knee surgery they are booing because he is an idiot, and a quitter.

    Exactly.

    Cue standard issue T0F reply:

But... but... Orlando! 13 in 35!

He was good in Orlando. You can't boo someone who scored 13 in 35.

You don't boo your own players. You just don't. The only time I would be fine with booing your own players is when the team has given up on Tmac. But they still embrace him.

I'm sorry, but the fans are wrong on this one.

And when we are talking about giving the Rockets homecourt advantage, booing your own players isn't exactly the best way to encourage the team to win.

Don't worry man. Hate makes you feel good about yourself. If we all boo Tracy, we're "getting back at him" for his malicious lethargy.

I am sure some of fans think Tmac is now not a player of Rockets, but a outsider or sitter sth.

Is this forum owned by Tmac?

I agree, I would never boo any Rocket player no matter how I felt about them.

I was just explaining why people are booing..

I can understand Magic fans booing him. In their eyes of those fans, he quit on them. Rockets fans booing Tmac is just ridiculous.

Don't take it so personal man, this isn't a contest. I'm just screwing around because I'm just as tired of the Tracy talk as you are.

I know you hate Tracy and you've got your reasons. I agree with some of them, and with some of them I don't.

Any booing in sports is considered lack of good sportmanship and bordering disgraceful. Booing on a particular player is absolutely unacceptable.

No it's not, they feel he quit here too. And his mouth causes him more problems than anything else.

Tmac is a selfish player, everyone knows it......and the fact that the team replaced him with Ron Artest ( a NUTJOB ) and got better because of it....says a TON about how important he really is.......or rather isn't.

Thats cool. Its a stupid reason to boo though.

If its like a Ron Artest in Indiana situation where he's basically on the trading block. Fine, boo him. But Tmac could just as easily be playing next year (probably on the bench, but still).

Dude, even Les knows the Lakers have a better chance than the Rockets.

Seriously though, Tracy had Knee surgery and is out..the team RIGHT NOW is in the playoffs. Can we all just cheer for the team and let Tracy be? if he comes back strong, then he does. If he comes back stevie style, are you guys gonna boo him then? I dont remember any boos when stevie tried playing and he half-assed in practice. But really, this is just getting old. Let Mcgrady be and root for the team that you love. To boo one of your team's players, in their home arena no less, just means you're a disrespectful bandwagon hopper.

the booing being louder than the cheering just goes to show how much this city sucks at being fans.

with all that said.... GO ROCKETS

I agree. TMac WAS that important on past teams because other guys deferred to him and the team had the wrong mentality. It wasn't a team game and guys felt down on themselves when their "leader" was out with an injury. They had an excuse and a crutch to excuse their failures, just like TMac did.

But now with Artest the team picked their heads up and realized they're a bunch of BAMF's that can do it themselves. They realized that putting each other on their backs was the way to go - the NBA isn't a one man show.

I hope if Tracy does come back to the team (big if) that the guys tell him off when he goes into superstar mode. Then we'll see the real Tracy - either he'll pout and run away (good riddance), or he'll suck it up and be a team player. That's the way I look at it, anyways.
