I personally can't get enough. It's probably my go to meal when I'm starving.

What's your go to dish from there?

I personally like a bowl, White Rice, Pinto Beans. Double (Steak,Barbacoa), tomatillo sauce, Cheese, Lettuce.

I do it whole30 style - double carnitas, pepper and onion, lettuce, pico, and loads of green tabasco.

I like the Korean version of Chipotle Chi'lantro. If you like Chipotle I highly, highly recommend trying this place out.

I looked up locations. And they are only in Austin. There are several of them here but weird.

I used to right up till they gave me food poisoning.

10 years ago, but it was so bad I remember till this day how sick I was. It literally changed me metabolically in some ways that endure to this day.

I like Chipotle and feel the quality of their food is pretty good, but for some reason, I like Bodegas even more. If these two places were close by, I would choose Bodegas over Chipotle.

I haven't had Chipotle in forever but was thinking about getting a burrito. I'm terrible about all the topping combos and have no idea what will come out best. I read this one burrito combo I may go with:

    Barbacoa
    No Rice
    Pinto Beans
    Fajita Veggies
    Fresh Tomato Salsa
    Tomatillo-Red Chili Salsa

I've read if you have too many toppings...the taste just becomes muddled. Does anyone know if above is a good combo? Or, what do you go with?

The burrito is too big to fit in my mouth. I can eat it with fork?

I actually prefer places that just name a sandwich/burrito/whatever and decide how it’s made without my input. If I want to take something off I will but when I have unlimited options I always add too much ****. I probably get 90% of the toppings when I get a sandwich from subway it still turns out alright but it’s definitely a unique taste.

I had a co-worker who was trying to stay in shape a few years ago but going to Chipotle every day for lunch and eating what he thought was a healthier meal there. Well, until he wasn't losing weight, but rather gaining, and then found what he was eating (a burrito bowl) had something like 40-50g of fat in it. I told him, when building the bowl, to take out anything that looked good, and he'd be ok. :D

aren't the carbs more of an issue than the fat?

Actually, that was one of the reasons he originally went with the "bowl" instead of the "burrito". The carbs in the bowl weren't "great" because of the beans, but that guacamole, cheese, and something else was killing it for him. But putting them all together was ruining all that treadmill time he put in. Maybe the guacamole is "good fat", but I think like 1/4 or 1/3 of the calories and half the fat in the thing entire bowl from that, but it's sooooo goooood. The other place that can wreck you is Panera.
